Our Story

A small shop with a harbor-town heart

Good Harbor Liquors has been a Main Street stop for Gloucester locals and summer visitors alike — the kind of place where the beer is always cold and the advice is always free.

Named for the beach

Good Harbor, in name and spirit

Just a few minutes from the dunes of Good Harbor Beach, our shop sits at 340 Main Street — close enough to smell the salt air. Generations of Gloucester families have stopped in on the way to the beach, the boat, or the dinner table.

We're proud to carry beers brewed right here on Cape Ann alongside bottles from around the world, and prouder still to be part of this working waterfront town.

How we do things

What you'll find on Main Street

Rooted in Gloucester

We're named for the beach down the road, and we stock for the way Cape Ann actually lives — beach coolers, boat days, and backyard dinners.

Curated with care

We taste, compare, and argue about what makes the shelf. If it's in the store, someone here stands behind it.

Neighbors first

Regulars get their usual set aside, newcomers get honest recommendations, and everyone gets a fair price.

Come say hello

The shelves are stocked and the cooler is cold

Whether you know exactly what you're after or want a recommendation for tonight's seafood dinner, we're happy to help — and we'll carry it to the car.
